A weakness of the PoD system is that colour accuracy cannot be maintained between printings, especially as the books may be printed in different countries. The book on the right in this picture is the author's proof (marked "not for resale") but the edition that readers receive is the one on the left. I prefer the one on the right as the colour as the other seems too cold. But that is the price you pay for the convenience!
